About the treatment

The treatment times range from 30 to 45 mins and you will be advised a course of 4 to 6 sessions with a 4-week gap between each treatment.

Top up treatments may be required but this will be discussed with you during the initial consultation and once the area has been assessed.

Laser wrinkle treatment affects the outer layer to below the skin where the wrinkles form.  The body’s natural healing process stops as we get older.

We recommend 6 sessions too successfully achieve your goal.

What to expect

During treatment you will show redness of the skin, this is a good sign that the treatment has worked, and sufficient heat has pushed into the epidermis giving maximum results.

Does it hurt?

You will feel pulses of a sharp hot sensation as the laser light is passed over the skin. The skin may appear reddish immediately after the treatment, however this usually reduces over 24 – 48 hours.

Tolerance of pain is very individual from person to person. No anaesthetics are required, and most people describe the sensation as similar to that of a rubber band snapping onto the skin.

Treatment Information

With an intense pulsed light treatment, a laser handle is used to perform treatment, a layer of gel is applied to the area being treated and the applicator is placed on the skin and as short pulse of light is released.  The applicator is then moved to the next area and the process is repeated until the entire area is treated.  During the treatment protective eye wear is provided.
